Installing city of heroes on windows download the homecoming launcher A side note, support for tequila is minimal at best, now would be a good time to switch to the homecoming launcher which is fully supported and more secure. Follow the setup instructions and choose an installation directory

If you have an existing city of heroes installation (from tequila or another legacy launcher), you must install the game to a new directory Internally codenamed ‘project hangover’, the new launcher is intended to function as an officially supported successor to take the place of programs like tequila The launcher will copy over most files (both game data and saved settings, costumes, etc) from an existing.

A little information that would help greatly

Tequila is being phased out so getting the homecoming launcher working is for the best Did you install hc launcher to the c:/games folder ( this being a separate folder from the tequila install ) do you have a shortcut on your desktop What happens when you try to start a session?

After being absent for probably several years, i tried launching the game (tequila) and alas, no luck I was sad, fearing that the game was no longer supported After a quick google, it brought me back to the forum where i found the new launcher After downloading and installing it, it quickly id.

Discussion, feedback, and bug reports regarding the homecoming launcher

When trying to access the game using the tequila launcher, it says that it cannot locate the game data files and may be corrupted, and that they need to be repaired. Voilà depuis aujourd'hui impossible de jouer a cox Double clic sur l'icone, tequila ça se lance mais quasi instantanément ça s'éteint J'ai essayé avec la compatibilité mais rien (en même temps j'ai pas modifié mon windows)

J'ai essayé le mode administrateur, ça ne marche pas non plus Tequila wasn't signed and hasn't been updated in years, so triggering false positives is not surprising, especially if its used with manifests from multiple servers That looks very sketchy to antiviruses. The servers hosting tequila content can't manage the load and as a result the download is abysmally slow

Using the torrent download and then installing tequila into the folder where the game was downloaded lets tequila skip most of the download and gets you ready to play much faster.

Welcome to the public test of the new launcher for homecoming City of heroes (or hc launcher for short)
